Supported models

Live catalogue

There is no permanent static list of supported model versions. Administrators synchronize model IDs from configured providers and control which entries are enabled. An active key can discover the enabled catalogue with GET /v1/models.

Select an exact ID

Copy data[].id into your request. If root is present, it identifies the canonical upstream target; both that target and the public alias are accepted while enabled. Preserve punctuation and namespaces. For deterministic selection, prefer a full ID rather than a shortened provider-stripped name.

Check capabilities

family, input and output help identify the model, but catalogue modalities can be inferred metadata. They do not advertise context limits, pricing, tool support or a compatibility matrix. Test your chosen model on Chat completions, Responses or Messages as appropriate.

The auto selector

auto resolves through exact IDs and aliases first, then an enabled ID ending in /auto, otherwise the first enabled model in catalogue order. The gateway does not analyze your prompt to choose a model. This fallback is not guaranteed to fit every endpoint.
